Storyline:
Based on the infamous Boston Strangler murders, this is the true story of Loretta McLaughlin, the first reporter to connect the murders and break the story of the Strangler. She and fellow reporter Jean Cole challenged the sexism of the early 1960s to report on the city’s most notorious serial killer and worked tirelessly to keep women informed.

It is based on the true story of the Boston Strangler, who in the 1960s killed 13 women in Boston, Massachusetts. The film is a co-production between Scott Free Productions, LuckyChap Entertainment, 20th Century Studios, and Langley Park Productions. Ben Kutchins served as the film’s cinematographer.
Filming began on December 2021 and wrapped in March 2022. Boston Strangler was theatrically released on March 17, 2023, by 20th Century Studios on Hulu.
