Storyline:

Cobweb is an American horror film directed by Samuel Bodin in his directorial debut. Its screenplay, written by Chris Thomas Devlin, was included in the 2018 the Black List, and follows a young boy, raised by overprotective parents, who suddenly hears noises coming from behind his bedroom wall. The film stars Lizzy Caplan, Woody Norman, Cleopatra Coleman, and Antony Starr.

It is inspired by the short story “the telltale heart” by Edgar Allen Poe. Principal photography was set to commence in September 2020 in Bulgaria. Filming occurred in Nu Boyana Film Studios in November 2020.

Cobweb had a limited release in the United States on July 21, 2023, by Lionsgate. It was released on digital formats on August 11, 2023. The Blu-ray release is set for September 12, 2023.
