About Dance Champion:

Dance Champion is a Nepali Mega Dance Reality Show produced by the International Dance Academy (IDA). It is an open platform for new talents across the nation. The show is one of a kind in Nepal that is based on national and international dance and its formats.

Nepal’s biggest dancing reality show ‘Dance Champion’ is directed by Gajit Bista while the show is produced by Ram Pukar Mahato, Nabin Khadka. Actress Niruta Singh, choreographer Jagat Rawal, and dancer Aashma Biswokarma are among the judges of Dance Champion. Umesh Rai (Fulandeko Aama) and Nishan Katuwal is the presenter of Dance Champion program.

The show is started on October 28, 2021 (11 Kartik, 2078), and every Thursday & Friday at 9 P.M. premiered on the Nepali television channel “Kantipur Television.” This program will have a total of 32 episodes. The show has total prize money of Rs 2.4 million (Rs. 24 Lakh).

Dance Champion Release Date:

Dance Champion is started on October 28, 2021 (11 Kartik, 2078), and every Thursday & Friday at 9 P.M. premiered on Nepali television channel “Kantipur Television HD.” This program will have a total of 32 episodes.

Dance Champion Prizes:

Dance Champion winner gets prize money of Rs 2 million (Rs. 20 Lakh) and a trophy, certificate, and many other gift hampers. And the first runner-up gets Rs. 5 lakh cash prize, trophy, and certificate.

Dance Champion Winner:

Girls group Subarshika won the show and the first runner-up became boys group Buckerz. Manish and Himal became second runner-up on the show.

Dance Champion Digital Audition:

Contestants will be able to participate in solo, duet, trio, and group while the contestants must be above 16 years of age and under 45 years of age, and only Nepali songs are allowed.

Dance Champion digital audition rules:

1. Record the video on a good quality phone/camera.
2. Duration of each video should be 1.5-2 minutes.
3. The audio and video quality of your audition video should be clearly audible and visible.
4. Editing and visual effects are not allowed.
5. Logo placement and promotion work on the contestant’s costume is not allowed.
6. Only Nepali songs are allowed.
