The format of the show consists of a celebrity paired with a professional dancer. Each pair will have to compete against the others and who moves forward and who leaves the show will be decided by the judges’ points and the audience’s vote.

There are three judges in this show. They are,
Gauri Malla – Gauri Malla is a legendary actress & dancer in the Nepali film industry. ‘Santan’ marked her debut film in the Nepali film industry.
Gauri Malla has given many popular movies in the Nepali film industry as well as she has played a huge role in bringing Nepal and the Nepali film industry to this point.
Dilip Rayamajhi – Dilip Rayamajhi is a successful actor & dancer who has made a name for himself in the Nepali film industry through dance. He is a struggling actor. Before working as a lead actor, he worked as a side dancer.
Renasha Bantawa Rai – Renasha Bantawa Rai is a film director, producer & choreographer who will be judging the show. She has choreographed as well as acted in many Nepali music videos and film songs. Her first directed film ‘INTU MINTU LONDONMA‘ was a huge success in Nepal and many other countries of the world.

Dancing With The Stars, Nepal (DWTS, Nepal) is the first celebrity dance reality show licensed by BBC Studios based on the format of the British TV series Strictly Come Dancing. The show premiered on September 18, 2020, every Friday & Saturday at 8 P.M.- 9 P.M. on the Nepali television channel “Himalaya TV.”
The show is directed by Laxman Poudyal, director of The Voice of Nepal Season 1 & 2 and Nepal Idol Season 1. The show is produced by ANC Production, a production house that has produced The Voice of Nepal.
For the first season, 12 celebrities and choreographers will compete to win the title ‘Dancing With The Stars Nepal’.
