Storyline:

Emergency is based on true events that unfolded in 1975. The film chronicles incidents that took place under the leadership of Mrs Indira Gandhi, one of the most Powerful Women in Indian History.

Emergency is based on the Indian Emergency and Kangana Ranaut played as former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi.
Principal photography commenced in July 2022 and ended in January 2023.
It marks the posthumous film of Satish Kaushik following his death on 8 March 2023.
Emergency is scheduled to be released theatrically on June 14, 2024, by Zee Studios. Originally It is set to be released in theaters on November 24, 2023.
