The Fall Guy is an upcoming American action comedy-drama film based on the 1980s TV series of the same name by Glen A. Larson. Directed by David Leitch and written by Drew Pearce, the film stars Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt in the lead roles alongside Winston Duke, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hannah Waddingham, and Stephanie Hsu in supporting roles. In July 2010, the Los Angeles Times reported that a film based on the 1980s series The Fall Guy was in development. On August 30, 2021, reports confirmed that Johnson and Emily Blunt would return for their roles in the sequel. Michael Green is tasked with developing the script for the sequel, with Jaume Collet-Serra expected to come back as the director. The producing team is set to include John Davis, John Fox, Beau Flynn, Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia, with Scott Sheldon returning in the role of executive producer.
