About Hellbound Season 2 TV Series:

Hellbound Season 2 (Korean: 지옥 시즌2) is an upcoming South Korean fantasy mystery horror television series directed by Yeon Sang-ho and written by Choi Gyu-seok. The first season ‘Hellbound‘ was an adaptation of the popular South Korean webtoon of the same name by Yeon Sang-ho.

On September 24, 2022, Netflix confirmed a second season. Production of the series began in mid-2023.

Originally, Yoo Ah Soo was set to reprise his role as Jung Jinsu in the second season of Hellbound. However, On March 2, 2023, it was confirmed that due to his involvement in a police investigation concerning alleged illegal drug use in South Korea, he has been replaced by Kim Sung-cheol.

Kim Hyun-joo, Kim Shin-rok, Yang Ik-june, Lee Dong-hee and Lee Re will reprise their respective roles in Season 2. Yang Dong-geun, Lim Seong-jae, Jo Dong-in and Moon Geun-young will also appear to enrich the narrative. On June 12, 2023, it was also confirmed that Yang Dong-geun got off for personal reasons, being replaced by Hong Eui-joon.

Hellbound Season 2 is expected to be released in 2024.
