Storyline:
This film brings a chilling tale of survival against the forces of darkness. Set in the 1950s, rookie BPRD agent Bobbie Jo Song finds herself in a dire situation when tasked with delivering a spider to the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense. She must enlist the help of Hellboy to confront the malevolent Crooked Man, who has returned to Earth to harvest souls for the devil.

Hellboy: The Crooked Man is based on the Dark Horse Comics character Hellboy created by Mike Mignola. It is the second reboot of the Hellboy film series and is the fourth live-action entry in the franchise.
The film is directed by Brian Taylor, based on a script he co-wrote with Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden, specifically adapted from The Crooked Man limited series by Mignola. It stars Jack Kesy as Hellboy, with Jefferson White and Adeline Rudolph in supporting roles.
Jack Kesy was 36 years old during filming, making him the youngest actor to portray Hellboy in a live-action film.
In February 2023, Millennium Media announced plans for a new live-action reboot titled Hellboy: The Crooked Man, intended as the first in a potential series of films. Filming began in March 2023 in Bulgaria and wrapped on May 15.
Reportedly made on a $20 million budget, Hellboy: The Crooked Man has the lowest budget of all four Hellboy adaptations. At 1 hour and 36 minutes, it is also the shortest runtime of any of the Hellboy films.
