This amount is said to be 20 times more than what his co-star Sunil Grover, who plays the iconic character Guthi, is receiving for his role.

The show, which premiered on Netflix on March 30, 2024, has already gained immense popularity, ranking number 3 in Netflix’s Global Top 10 series just a few days after its release. The 15-episode first season features a star-studded guest list, including Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan (first appearance in Kapil Sharma Show), Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Neetu Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Sunny Kaushal, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer, Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra, and Imtiaz Ali.

According to a report by News18, DNA India, and Zee Hindustan, Kapil Sharma is charging over Rs 5 crore per episode. Sunil Grover is charging Rs 25 lakh per episode. This significant pay gap highlights that Sharma earns 20 times more than Grover.

Other cast members like Archana Puran Singh and Krushna Abhishek command Rs 10 lakh per episode, while Kiku Sharda and Rajiv Thakur receive Rs 7 lakh and Rs 6 lakh, respectively.
