As the plot unfolds, Krishnamurthy reveals that he had previously imprisoned a man named Vasudeva for a crime he did not commit, which led to devastating consequences for Vasudeva’s family. When Krishnamurthy is found dead after a wedding celebration, Jayarama becomes the prime suspect.
