Storyline:

Krrish and his father must defeat human-animal mutants created by an evil genius, Kaal, who is hell-bent on destroying the world. His vile army is led by a chameleon mutant, Kaya.

About Krrish 3 Movie:

Krrish 3 is a Hindi science fiction action adventure film starring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, and Vivek Oberoi in the lead roles. It was written, directed, and produced by Rakesh Roshan, who wrote the screenplay with Honey Irani and Robin Bhatt.

It is the third film in the Krrish series, following Koi… Mil Gaya (2003) and Krrish (2006).

Principal photography of the film began on December 1, 2011, with Vivek Oberoi, Kangana Ranaut, and Priyanka Chopra. However, Hrithik Roshan did not participate in the first schedule due to a back injury. The primary location of filming was Filmistan Studios at Mumbai. The filming process was completed in June 2012, and then the VFX team started their work.

Kangana Ranaut’s character was based on X-Men’s Mystique and Vivek Oberoi’s character was based on X-Men’s Magneto.

Ajay Devgn was strongly considered for the role of Kaal played by Vivek Oberoi.

The film was reportedly produced on a budget of ₹95 crore (US$20 million). Red Chillies VFX, a subdivision of Shah Rukh Khan’s motion picture production banner Red Chillies Entertainment, worked on the special effects worth ₹260 million (US$3.1 million) for Krrish 3.

According to reports around 600 Krrish masks were used during the filming of the movie; since they are made of wax, they tend to melt. Hrithik Roshan thus had to do more rounds of the set.

The music rights of the film were acquired by T-Series for ₹60 million (US$720,000). The full soundtrack album was released on 18 September 2013 with music composed by Rakesh Roshan.

Krrish 3 was the first Indian film to launch its own official Facebook Emoticons as part of promotion.

Krrish 3 was released worldwide on November 1, 2013. It was initially scheduled to be released as a 3D film. However, due to a lack of release time to convert the film to 3D, director Rakesh Roshan mentioned that the film would be released only in the 2D format.

Produced on a budget of ₹95 crore, Krrish 3 grossed ₹393.37 crore worldwide. The film has received generally positive reviews from critics.
