Storyline:

Muruganantham is a suspended police constable who hits Vellai unaware he is the son of a notorious don. He is forced to confront the villains as his son is being exposed to villainy. Can he save his family and himself?

Laththi is a Tamil action thriller film directed by A. Vinoth Kumar in his directorial debut, produced by Ramana and Nandha Durairaj under Rana Productions. The film stars Vishal, alongside Ramana, Master Lirish Raghav, Sunaina, and Prabhu. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography by Balasubramaniem & Balakrishna Thota, and editing by N. B. Srikanth.

This marks the second collaboration between Vishal and Sunaina, following Samar. Filming began on August 29, 2021, and took place across various locations in Tamil Nadu, including Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The dubbing process started in May 2022, and the film’s production was completed on July 15, 2022. Post-production work began on December 7, 2022.

Released on December 22, 2022, Laththi received mixed reviews, with critics praising Vishal’s performance and the action sequences, while the screenplay faced criticism.
