About No Time to Die Movie:

No Time to Die is an action-adventure spy thriller film starring Daniel Craig in his fifth and final portrayal of fictional British MI6 agent James Bond. The film was directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga from a screenplay he co-wrote with Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

It is the twenty-fifth in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions. Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, and Rory Kinnear reprise their roles from previous films.

Development of the film began in 2016. Danny Boyle was initially set to direct and co-write the screenplay with John Hodge. However, both left in August 2018 due to creative differences, and Cary Joji Fukunaga was announced as Boyle’s replacement one month later.

It is the seventh screenplay for a James Bond movie was written by regular Bond screenwriters Neal Purvis, and Robert Wade. Their first was for The World Is Not Enough (1999).

Principal photography officially began on April 28, 2019, in Jamaica and wrapped up on October 25, 2019, at Pinewood Studios. Filming locations included Italy, Jamaica, Norway, the Faroe Islands, and London, as well as Pinewood Studios with the filming of a chase sequence set in Havana, Cuba.

Billie Eilish performed the theme song of the same name, while Hans Zimmer scored the film, with Steve Mazzaro serving as score producer.

The film marks Daniel Craig’s 15th year as James Bond since his debut in Casino Royale (2006). This makes Craig the longest-running actor in the official James Bond series.

It was the most expensive James Bond movie ever with a budget of about US $250 million beating the previous Bond movie record holder of ‘Spectre’ (2015) which had a budget of around US $245 million.

No Time to Die premiered at the Royal Albert Hall in London on September 28, 2021. It was released theatrically in the UK on September 30, 2021, and in the US on October 8, 2021. The film received positive reviews from critics.

The film grossed $160.9 million in the United States and Canada and $613.3 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $774.2 million, making it the fourth-highest-grossing film of 2021 and the third-highest-grossing Bond film. In addition, it earned several other box-office record achievements, including becoming the third-highest-grossing film of all time in the UK.

The film was nominated for three awards at the 94th Academy Awards, winning Best Original Song, and received numerous other accolades.

One of the most emotional moments during the shoot came when James Bond actor Daniel Craig’s final scenes and last day of filming were shot. These were, fittingly, shot at Pinewood Studios, the traditional home of the Bond films. Producer Michael G. Wilson recalled the feeling on set by saying: “It was late at night and usually people go home when they’re done but everyone came on set. It wasn’t a party atmosphere exactly but it was a special moment and people wanted to be there. They called ‘Wrap!’ and Daniel said some beautiful words and everyone was tearful and hugging. We were all sorry to see this era end. It was very emotional for the crew.”
