Storyline:
The film revolves around a middle-aged police constable, a true family man, and a rather introvert with a wife and a kid. He prefers to take night duty at an aid post in Palayam which is relatively risk-free and quite peaceful, hence mocked by fellow policemen and they call him ‘ PALAYAM PC ‘.The film kick starts with the PC sitting in the police station daydreaming about himself receiving a police medal for his bravery. One day he was assigned protection duty for the female activist who was under public threat for the very reason that she had entered into the Sabarimala sanctum santorum against the custom and rituals of the temple offending the believers and religion citing the supreme court order. During the stay of Chandran Nair for the protection duty which was arranged in a house adjacent to the activist his professional life took a big turn around finally ending up in him getting the service medallion for his deeds.
