  • Pathaan is a Hindi action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand from a screenplay by Shridhar Raghavan and a story by Anand. Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, it is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe.
  • It stars Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles alongside Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana. India Today reported that Pathaan was made on an estimated production budget of ₹225 crore (US$28 million) with a further ₹15 crore (US$1.9 million) spent on print and advertising. Against the norm, pre-release publicity was limited with no media interactions or public events.

  • The release date of Pathaan was revealed on 2 March 2022 through an announcement teaser. A first-look motion poster was revealed on 25 June 2022.
