Storyline:

Set in the 1800s, the story follows a dacoit tribe and their fight for independence against British rule. It was theatrically released on 22 July 2022.

Shamshera is a Hindi period action drama film directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor in his first dual role with Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist alongside Vaani Kapoor, Ronit Roy, and Saurabh Shukla.

The film was released theatrically on 22 July 2022, in Hindi along with dubbed versions of Tamil and Telugu. It received mixed to negative reviews from critics and eventually emerged as a box office failure.
