Aranmanai 4
Aranmanai 4 is the standalone sequel to Aranmanai 3 (2021), and the fourth installment in the Aranmanai film series. It is an upcoming Tamil comedy horror film directed by Sundar C. and starring Sundar himself, alongside Tamannaah Bhatia, Raashii Khanna, Santhosh Prathap, Ramachandra Raju, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, K. S. Ravikumar and more. Produced by Khushbu Sundar and A. C. S. Arun Kumar under the banner of Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media (P) Ltd, the film has music composed by Hiphop Tamizha, cinematography handled by E. Krishnasamy and editing done by Fenny Oliver.
In January 2023, Vijay Sethupathi was cast as the lead in the fourth Aranmanai film series, but due to scheduling conflicts, he stepped down, and Sundar C. took over. The first look poster of the film was released on September 29, 2023. Exclusive stills were leaked and went viral on March 15, 2024. The official trailer was launched on March 30, 2023, at a grand event in Chennai and received mostly positive reviews. Initially, Aranmanai 4 was set for release in Pongal 2024, then moved to Republic Day. Finally, Aranmanai 4 is scheduled to be theatrically released on 11 April 2024.
Vedaa
Vedaa is an upcoming Hindi action thriller drama film starring John Abraham, Sharvari Wagh, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Abhishek Banerjee. Directed by Nikkhil Advani and written by Aseem Arora, the film is produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment. According to the makers, the film is inspired by true events. Filming began in June 2023 in Rajasthan and ended in December 2023 in Kashmir. Vedaa is scheduled to be released worldwide on 12 July 2024 by Zee Studios.
Storyline: Vedaa depicts the bravery of one person challenging a draconian system in an uprising. It follows a young woman’s fight for justice, guided by a man who becomes her ally.
Stree 2
Stree 2 is an upcoming Hindi comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Niren Bhatt. It is a sequel to the 2018 film Stree and the fourth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Aakash Ambani under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the film stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan will also appear in the cameo appearance.
In October 2018, director Amar Kaushik announced plans for a sequel to Stree, but the original creators Raj and D.K. won’t be involved. Actor Rajkummar Rao confirmed the sequel in February 2022. Principal photography commenced on 10 July 2023. The first schedule was held at the same location. The second schedule commenced on November 2023 in Chanderi. Stree 2 is scheduled to be theatrically released on 30 August 2024.

Odela 2, the sequel to Odela Railway Station (2022), is currently in production. It is an upcoming Telugu supernatural thriller film directed by Ashok Teja and written by Sampath Nandi. The film marks the second collaboration between Sampath Nandi and Ashok Teja. Produced by D. Madhu, the film stars Tamannaah Bhatia as Shiva Shakthi alongside Hebah Patel, Vasishta N. Simha, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy and more. Principal photography began on 1 March 2024 at Varanasi. The first look poster was released on 8 March 2024.
