Storyline:
Murphy portrays Sherman Klump, a kind-hearted but morbidly obese university professor and research scientist. To win the affection of his dream girl, he develops an experimental weight-loss pharmaceutical that he tests on himself. This results in the creation of his charismatic yet evil alter ego, Buddy Love. Murphy showcases his versatility by playing multiple characters, including most of Sherman’s family members, except his nephew.
