Storyline:
Based on a true story, an alarming surge in violent bombings and bank robberies in the Pacific Northwest leads a weathered FBI agent into a deadly cat-and-mouse game with a charismatic domestic terrorist plotting to overthrow the US government.

The Order is based on the 1989 non-fiction book The Silent Brotherhood by Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt, which details the activities of the white supremacist group The Order, active in the United States during the 1980s.
Justin Kurzel directed the film, which starred Jude Law, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Jurnee Smollett, Odessa Young, and Marc Maron.
This marks the second collaboration between Justin Kurzel and Nicholas Hoult, their first being True History of the Kelly Gang (2019).
Filming began on May 8, 2023, in Alberta, Canada.
The Order premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Lion. The film was released on Prime Video in Canada. It will be released in the UK on December 27, 2024.
