Using unprecedented Olympic footage and behind-the-scenes material from NBA Entertainment, it tells the story of the US Basketball team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, who sought redemption for their shocking performance at the previous Olympics in Athens. There, a team of hastily compiled NBA superstars including Allen Iverson, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade lost for the first time since NBA players were allowed to participate in the Games. 2004 marked the end of the ‘Dream Team’ era.
