Storyline:
In Seongsan-dong, Mapo-gu, there is a 25-year community village after-school program created by teachers, children, and parents. There are 60 children and five teachers living together from the first to sixth graders. The school was closed due to the sudden COVID-19 pandemic, but this place rather increased operating hours.
As COVID-19 continues to social distancing, after-school teachers can do less and do more. In this place where play is the most important, children cannot go out due to COVID-19, and teachers prepare lunch themselves and take care of 60 children from morning to evening.
The longer the COVID-19, the longer the meeting to protect the children’s play routine, and the after-school teachers in the village get tired. Village after-school teachers also face limitations as they endure only the value of raising children together in the village without being called a teacher both inside and outside.
The documentary tells the story of after-school teachers in the village, who have been protecting children on behalf of schools that have been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but are not socially called teachers and care workers who are not even recognized for a year of experience even after 10 years of work.
