Storyline:

Spain, 1981. On her wedding day, Lola suffers internal bleeding and she loses the baby she was expecting. Still worse, she is reported in the hospital that she lost too the capacity to be pregnant. Some months later while Lola she still depressed by the tragedy Adolfo, her husband, convinces her to adopt a baby in a convent close to the town. But instead of adopting a baby, Lola decides to adopt Tin and Tina, two lovely twins with a music talent. However, Lola discovers because their rise in the convent that Tin and Tina are frantic religious who interpret the Holy Bible verbatim, not considering the consequences. Obsessed with Christ, God, and salvation, their attitude and behavior turns their peaceful family life in a hell full of fear. While an absent father Adolfo rejects Lola accusations simply as kid stuff, Lola suffers a faint in New Year’s Eve just to realize something impossible: she’s pregnant again. Taking it as a miracle, the news make her and Adolfo happy, but Lola becomes obsessive thinking that Tin and Tina would put in danger she and the baby looking for obtain celestial redemption.

Tin & Tina is a psychological horror-thriller film directed by Rubin Stein, which stars Milena Smit and Jaime Lorente alongside Carlos González Morollón and Anastasia Russo.

It is the feature film adaptation of the 2013 short film of the same name directed by Rubin Stein.

Filming began on July 27, 2021, and wrapped after 7 weeks, by September 2021. The film was shot in the province of Seville, shooting locations included the Hacienda San Felipe in Gerena and the Monastery of San Isidoro del Campo in Santiponce.

Tin & Tina was theatrically released in Spain on March 31, 2023, by Filmax.
