Storyline:

Zero Day is an upcoming thriller political drama television series directed by Lesli Linka Glatter and starring Robert De Niro, Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Plemons, Joan Allen, Connie Britton, Bill Camp, Dan Stevens, McKinley Belcher III, and Angela Bassett.
Robert De Niro’s first time appearing in a television series.
It was revealed in November 2022 that Eric Newman and Noah Oppenheim had worked on the story with Micheal Schmidt with Newman and Oppenheim writing the script. The project was confirmed as Greenlit by Netflix on March 1, 2023.
Application for filming a train crash was submitted in Westchester County, New York for July 2023. Filming had started in and around New York but production was suspended with crew and cast sent home in June 2023, due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike.
Zero Day is expected to be released in 2024 on Netflix.
