‘Acharya’ Trailer: Based on Life of Legendary Singer Bhakta Raj Acharya

Silk Route Pictures is set to release the highly anticipated Nepali movie ‘Acharya‘ on June 21, 2024. The film is based on the life of renowned Nepali singer Bhakta Raj Acharya, affectionately known as “Rastra Gayak” and “Bhajan Shiromani.”

Directed by Prashant Rasaily, ‘Acharya’ features an impressive cast, including Satya Raj Acharya in the lead role, along with Aruna Karki and Sunil Pokharel. The film also features a special appearance by legendary ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali Khan.

The music for ‘Acharya’ has been composed by Bhakta Raj Acharya himself, while the background score is provided by acclaimed composer Amar Mohile from Bona Venture Studio in Mumbai. The film’s cinematography and editing are handled by Shailendra D. Karki.

Roshan Rai serves as the producer for ‘Acharya’, which is set to release in Nepali theaters on Ashar 7, 2081 (June 21, 2024).
