The cast also includes Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Mohan, Laila, and Jayaram. It was directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, and Kalpathi S. Suresh.
The film was announced in May 2023 under the tentative title Thalapathy 68, as it is Vijay’s 68th film in a leading role. The film’s official title, The Greatest of All Time, was announced on December 31, 2023. In addition to the original Tamil version, the film is set to be released with dubbed versions in Telugu and Hindi as well.
