Directed by Jon Gunn, the film stars Zachary Levi in the lead role alongside Jacob Laval, Meghann Fahy, Peter Facinelli, Drew Powell, Gavin Warren, Pilot Bunch, Amy Acker, and Patricia Heaton.
The film was officially announced on November 13, 2020, by the Erwin brothers. The filming was completed in Oklahoma during the COVID-19 pandemic in late 2020.
The Unbreakable Boy is scheduled to be released on February 21, 2025. The film was originally set for theatrical release on March 18, 2022, it was pulled from distribution days before its release with no explanation or announcement of a new date until January 2024 when it was finally given its new release date.
