BTS’s Jin Is Officially Back From His Military Service
After 18 months of serving his mandatory military duty, BTS’ eldest member, Kim Seok-jin, better known as Jin, has officially returned to civilian life. The 31-year-old BTS Member, Jin was discharged from the military base camp on June 12, 2024, marking the end of his active service.
Jin’s return was met with excitement and joy from fans and fellow group members alike. He was greeted by his fellow BTS members, including RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, who had all taken leaves from their own military service to be present for the occasion. The group’s leader, RM, even played a saxophone rendition of their hit song ‘Dynamite’ to set the celebratory mood.
Jin’s military service was a significant milestone for the K-pop group, as it marked the first time all seven members had been apart for such a long period. During his time in the military, Jin served as an assistant drill instructor at the Army recruit training in Yeoncheon.
BTS‘ return as a full group is expected to be a major event in the music industry, with fans worldwide eagerly anticipating the group’s reunion concert in 2025.
