Kanguva

Kanguva (also known as Kanguva: A Mighty Valiant Saga), is a highly anticipated periodic action fantasy drama film directed by Siva and starring Suriya, Bobby Deol, and Disha Patani in the lead roles, alongside Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley and more. The project was originally announced in April 2019 under the working title Suriya 39, marking the actor’s 39th film as a lead. After multiple delays, filming was postponed, and the project was eventually shelved. Subsequently, in January 2022, Suriya disclosed that the film was still in progress.

The film was reannounced in August 2022 with the tentative title Suriya 42 as it became Suriya’s 42nd film in a leading role. Principal photography commenced that month in Chennai with a customary pooja ceremony. Kanguva is scheduled to be released in late 2024, in conventional 2D, 3D, and IMAX formats. Initially scheduled for an early 2024 release, the film was delayed due to the extensive post-production works. Hari Hara Veera Mallu

Hari Hara Veera Mallu is an upcoming period action-adventure drama film written and directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The film is set in the 17th-century Mughal Empire. It stars Pawan Kalyan as Veera Mallu alongside Bobby Deol, Nidhi Agerwal, Nora Fatehi, and Vikramjeet Virk. In September 2019, A. M. Rathnam approached the politically active Pawan Kalyan for a Krish Jagarlamudi-directed film. By November, Kalyan agreed in principle to a period film where he’d play a thief after a January 2020 look test. Launched the same month in Hyderabad and tentatively named PSPK 27, it marks Kalyan’s 27th lead role. In March 2021, the film’s title was confirmed as Hari Hara Veera Mallu.

The film was initially set to feature Arjun Rampal as Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. However, due to other commitments and COVID-19-related delays, Rampal exited the project, and Bobby Deol was cast in his place. The film began its production in September 2020 with filming taking place primarily in Hyderabad. The filming and release of the film have been delayed and postponed multiple times owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and Kalyan’s political commitments.

Initially set for a Sankranti release on January 14, 2022, Hari Hara Veera Mallu was rescheduled to April 29, 2022, but further postponed due to pandemic-related delays and Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments. A tentative release date of March 30, 2023, was announced in August 2022 but was delayed again due to Kalyan’s ongoing political commitments. The film is planned to be released in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The project began production in March 2021 and was initially set for a Diwali release on 5 November 2021 but faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
