Kalki 2898 AD

Kalki 2898 – A.D is an upcoming 2024 Indian epic science-fiction action-adventure film directed by Nag Ashwin and starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Dulquer Salmaan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, and Amitabh Bachchan in important roles. It is based on Hindu scriptures and it is set in a post-apocalyptic world in 2898 AD. The film is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages.

The film was announced under the working title Project K in February 2020 coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Vyjayanthi Movies. It is estimated to be mounted at a budget of ₹600 crore (US$75 million), making it the most expensive Indian film ever made. Kalki 2898 – A.D is scheduled to be released theatrically on 9 May 2024. The film is planned to be released in Telugu and Hindi while also being dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, English, and several international languages.
