Deadpool & Wolverine: The First Trailer for Marvel’s R-Rated Team-Up is Here!

The first trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine has arrived, and it promises a wild ride as Ryan Reynolds’ antihero teams up with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine for a bloody and hilarious adventure.

The trailer, which spills blood and makes inappropriate fourth-wall jokes, introduces Wolverine as the latest addition to the MCU. The two mutants’ worlds collide at a birthday party for Wade Wilson, which quickly turns into a kidnapping orchestrated by Matthew Macfayden’s character.

As chaos ensues, Deadpool is declared “the Marvel Jesus” and Wolverine gets very stabby in the closing seconds. The trailer also features a nod to Secret Wars, with a faded sticker featuring a Secret Wars comic book cover visible in one scene.

The film, officially titled Deadpool & Wolverine, is directed by Shawn Levy and marks Wade Wilson’s official entry into the MCU. It also features a star-studded cast, including Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Rob Delaney as Peter, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Jennifer Garner as Elektra.

Fans can look forward to plenty of surprises in store, as long as they avoid set leaks that plagued the resumption of filming. Reynolds has called for any such images to be held back in order to preserve the magic of theatrical movies.

Deadpool & Wolverine is set to hit theaters on July 25 in the UK and Ireland and July 26 in the US, as part of Marvel Phase 5. With its R-rated action and humor, the film is sure to be a hit with fans of both characters.
