It is produced by Jeet, Gopal Madnani, and Amit Jumrani under the banner of Grassroot Entertainment. The film’s story revolves around a gangster from Kolkata from the 70s to the mid-90s.
Chengiz was released simultaneously in Bengali and Hindi theatrically on 21 April 2023. This is the very first time a Bengali film is set to release in Hindi simultaneously.
