About Gaslight Movie
- Principal photography of the film commenced in February 2022 in Ranjit Vilas Palace, Wankaner, and was completed in just 36 days. The second schedule of the film was shot in and around Mumbai; with underwater sections being shot in Khopoli.
- Gaslight is a remake of “Scream of Fear” (1961) which is directed by Seth Holt.
- The film received generally mixed reviews from critics. It was criticized for its weak and old storyline but there were praises showered for the horror scenes and the atmospheric cinematography and production design; as well as for the performances by the actors particularly those of Vikrant Massey and Chitrangada Singh.
- Sara Ali Khan went to Acting School in the US, after shooting for this movie. She was advised by her father to learn how to express and emote better and improve her acting skills for her future Horror movies like Gaslight.
