Gurthunda Seethakalam is an official remake of the 2020 Kannada film Love Mocktail by Krishna. The film’s music is composed by Kaala Bhairava, with cinematography done by Satya Hegde and editing performed by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
The film was formally launched in August 2020, with the second schedule taking place in Hyderabad in December 2020. After being postponed multiple times, the film was released on 9 December 2022.
