Jayeshbhai Jordaar Movie (2022):
Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a Hindi comedy-drama film written and directed by Divyang Thakkar, and produced by Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma under Yash Raj Films. The film stars Ranveer Singh in the titular role, Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani, and Ratna Pathak Shah play supporting roles.
The film was officially announced in May 2019; after the pre-production ended, shooting commenced in Mumbai on 4 December 2019. The second schedule took place in Gujarat from January 2020 and the film wrapped up on 7 February 2020.
It was earlier announced to release in theatres on 2 October 2020 and later on 27 August 2021, but the COVID-19 pandemic in India led to its postponement by the makers who waited for the pandemic to subside rather than releasing it on OTT platforms. The film was released theatrically on 13 May 2022.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar Movie Storyline (Plot):
Jayesh Patel lives with his pregnant wife Mudra and daughter Siddhi after the birth of Siddhi Mudra has had several abortions as she did not bear a male child. Sarpanch Pruthvish Patel father of Jayesh and his wife Jashoda Patel still live with their old thinking that a male child will carry their legacy forward while the rest of the villagers believe it as a command and support abortions of female children.
Jayesh finds from the doctor that due to several abortions Mudra won’t be able to bear a child after her current pregnancy. He finds through Sonography that Mudra is going to give birth to a female child and decides to save her. Jayesh and Mudra plan accordingly and elope from their house but Sarpanch is always one step ahead. Finally, they decide to travel to the village of Amar Tau which is against abortions and supports female births as his village has no surviving females.
