About Late Night with the Devil Movie:
Late Night with the Devil is an international co-production found footage supernatural horror film produced under the banner of Image Nation Abu Dhabi, Spooky Pictures, Future Pictures and Good Fiend Films.
It’s an international co-production between Australia and the United Arab Emirates. It was written, directed, and edited by Cameron Cairnes and Colin Cairnes.
Production of the film was announced on February 13, 2022. It was shot in Melbourne, Australia. The film utilizes practical special effects, including puppetry, along with digital visual effects.
In October 2023, IFC Films and Shudder acquired the distribution rights for North America, United Kingdom, and Ireland.
Late Night with the Devil had its world premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival (SXSW) on March 10, 2023, and received generally positive reviews from critics. The film was theatrically released on March 22, 2024, and will be available on Shudder on April 19, 2024.
The film won the Audience Award at two film festivals in 2023 – the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal in Québec province, Canada, and the Overlook Film Festival in New Orleans in Louisiana state, USA.
