Storyline:
Bad Newz is a bizarre, rare comedy about heteropaternal superfecundation! A twist of fate leads to Saloni Baggas twin pregnancy being fathered by both Akhil Chadha and Gurbir Pannu, setting off a chaotic rivalry for her love and their children. As Akhil and Gurbir vie for Salonis affections, chaos ensues.

Bad Newz is a Hindi romantic comedy film directed by Anand Tiwari. It stars Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri, Ammy Virk, Neha Dhupia, Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Initially, the film was titled ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’.
The film is a spiritual sequel to the original 2019 film Good Newwz, and like the original also revolves around pregnancy.
The film was initially titled Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, which was later changed to Bad Newz. The two working titles of the movie are Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam and Chori Chori Dekha Tumhe. Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam is a song from Duplicate while Chori Chori Dekha Tumhe is a song from Om Jai Jagadish.
Principal photography for the film began in March 2022 and production was wrapped in July 2023.
Bad Newz was released theatrically on July 19, 2024. The film’s release was initially scheduled for July 28, 2023, then moved to August 25, 2023, and later to February 23, 2024, before finally being set for its current release date.
