Storyline:
Thaiyal Nayagi (Trisha), an online channel reporter, finds a fake Facebook account of her niece. She encounters a boy Aalim from Libya. The FBI on the other hand wants to bring Aalim under their custody using Thaiyal Nayagi and her niece as bait.

Raangi is a Tamil action thriller film directed by M. Saravanan and produced by Allirajah Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca Productions. The film stars Trisha, Bekzod Abdumalikov, and Anaswara Rajan (in her Tamil debut) in the lead roles.
The film was tentatively titled as Trisha61. On 20 April 2019, the title was announced to be Raangi.
The shooting of the film was wrapped up on 12 February 2020.
Raangi marks Tamil debut of Anaswara Rajan. The film also marks C. Sathya’s third collaboration with M. Saravanan after Engaeyum Eppothum (2011) and Ivan Veramathiri (2013).
The first single titled “Panithuli” was released on December 15, 2020.
Raangi was released theatrically on December 30, 2022, by Lyca Productions. The film received mixed reviews from critics.
The post-theatrical streaming rights of the film were sold to Sun NXT and Netflix, while the satellite rights of the film were sold to Sun TV. The film had its digital premiere on the streaming platform from January 29, 2023.
