Storyline:
Based in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, Ishana meets foreign returned Ramisa. As their passionate romance brews, Ishana falls madly in love with her, but things turn out differently when the time comes to disclose the affair to their elders, the couple gets separated through a very shocking twist. Like the plot, Ishana is lost when he thinks the elders refuse his love with Ramisa. He becomes hyper-aggressive. He becomes violent and loses his mind when he finds out Ramisa never loved him and used him for sex.

Tadap (transl. Yearning) is a Hindi romantic action drama film directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner, with Fox Star Studios serving as distributor and co-producer.
Tadap is a remake of the Telugu film RX 100 (2018).
Tadapis a debut film of Ahan Shetty the son of actor Sunil Shetty.
The principal photography began on 22 April 2019 in the Central Plaza theatre in the South Mumbai.
Major portions of the film were shot in Mumbai and Mussoorie. The film was wrapped up on 10 March 2021.
Tadap was initially scheduled to release on 24 September 2021 in theatres. However, it was later pushed to 3 December 2021. The movie was released in 2107 screens out which 1656 were in India and 451 in other countries to mixed reviews with praise towards its music, performances and action sequences but criticism towards screenplay and dialogues.
