Storyline:

Isaiah Wright has some growing up to do. A year out of high school with no plans for his future, Isaiah is challenged by his single mom and a successful businessman to start charting a better course for his life. Through the prayers of his mother and biblical discipleship from his new mentor, Isaiah begins to discover God’s purpose for his life is so much more than he could hope for or imagine.

The Forge is an American drama film directed by Alex Kendrick and produced by Stephen Kendrick, Justin Tolley, Aaron Burns, and Trey Reynolds. It stars Cameron Arnett, Priscilla Shirer, Aspen Kennedy, and Karen Abercrombie.

A spin-off and sequel to War Room (2015), it is the Kendrick brothers’ ninth film, the sixth through their subsidiary, Kendrick Brothers Productions, and their first sequel ever made by them.

This is also the first Kendrick Brothers film where characters from an earlier film (War Room) appear.

Principal photography began in Albany, Georgia in June 2023 and was completed in next month.

The Forge was released in the United States by Sony Pictures Releasing on August 23, 2024.

In the United States and Canada, The Forge was released alongside Blink Twice and The Crow. The film made $600,000 from Thursday night previews.
