Storyline:

Kapil and Somya are a happily married couple from Indore who live in a joint family and decide to get a divorce one fine day. Things don’t go as planned as their family gets to know of it, and thus begins a comedy of errors.

• The film’s title was announced with a teaser by Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan on Instagram one day before the release of the trailer.
• There had been rumors that the film was set to be called Luka Chuppi 2.
• The official trailer was released on 15 May 2023. The trailer launch was accompanied by a visit to Juhu Chowpatty by Kaushal and Khan, where they interacted with the media and posed for photographs.
• Khan and Kaushal enjoyed Indore’s famous Poha-Jalebi during promotions.
• Zara Hatke Zara Bachke was theatrically released on 2 June 2023 and received mixed reviews from critics who praised its music and Kaushal’s performance but criticised the story and the pace of the film. The film emerged as a sleeper hit, becoming the ninth-highest-grossing Hindi film of the year.
• The film earned ₹5.49 crore at the domestic box office on its opening day and a total domestic weekend collection of ₹ 22.59 crore.
