His journey in Bollywood began with minor roles, making his debut in the film Run in 2004. However, Tripathi gained recognition for his role in Anurag Kashyap’s crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur (2012). Stree 2
Stree 2 is an upcoming Hindi comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Niren Bhatt. It is a sequel to the 2018 film Stree and the fourth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Aakash Ambani under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the film stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan will also appear in the cameo appearance.
In October 2018, director Amar Kaushik announced plans for a sequel to Stree, but the original creators Raj and D.K. won’t be involved. Actor Rajkummar Rao confirmed the sequel in February 2022. Principal photography commenced on 10 July 2023. The first schedule was held at the same location. The second schedule commenced on November 2023 in Chanderi. Stree 2 is scheduled to be theatrically released on 30 August 2024

Metro… In Dino is an upcoming Hindi romantic drama film directed by Anurag Basu, who co-wrote it with Samrat Chakraborty. The film stars Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Anupam Kher, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sen Sharma and Neena Gupta. It is a sequel to the 2007 film Life in a… Metro. A sequel titled Metro… In Dino was announced in 2022 with Anurag Basu and Pritam Chakraborty returning as director and music composer respectively. The film is scheduled to be theatrically released on September 13, 2024.
Spirit
After the success of Animal (2023), director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has announced his next project “Spirit”. According to reports Prabhas’ new movie Spirit will be bigger than Ranbir Kapoor‘s starrer Animal (2023). Principle photography is expected to begin in October 2024. Spirit is expected to be released in 2025.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh
Ustaad Bhagat Singh is an upcoming Telugu action comedy-drama directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers. Starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, alongside Sreeleela, Pankaj Tripathi, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, B. S. Avinash, Gauthami, and Chammak Chandra. The film is a remake of the 2016 Tamil movie Theri.
The film was initially announced as Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh on September 9, 2021. In December 2022, its title was changed to Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Principal photography began on 5 April 2023. Ustaad Bhagat Singh was originally planned for release in 2024 but got delayed as director Harish Shankar shifted focus to directing Mr. Bachchan, reuniting with actor Ravi Teja.
