About Ustaad Bhagat Singh Movie:
Ustaad Bhagat Singh is an upcoming Telugu action drama film directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The film stars Pawan Kalyan as the titular character alongside Sreeleela, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, B. S. Avinash, Gauthami and Chammak Chandra.
It is a remake of the 2016 Tamil film Theri.
The film was announced as Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh on 9 September 2021. Later in December 2022, the title was changed to Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
The film marks the second collaboration of Pawan Kalyan with Harish Shankar after Gabbar Singh (2012). Actor Pawan Kalyan was greatly impressed with the storyline before agreeing to be a part of this film.
Principal photography commenced on 5 April 2023. A Police station was erected in an Aluminium factory, Hyderabad for film’s first schedule.
The first glimpse video of the film was released on May 11, 2023, on YouTube. The video on YouTube achieved a milestone of 19 million views within a span of 6 days.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh is expected to be released in 2024. The digital distribution rights of the film were acquired by Amazon Prime Video.
