‘Rafa Márquez: El Capitán’ Trailer: Mexican biographical sports documentary

Netflix unveiled an upcoming Mexican biographical sports documentary ‘Rafa Márquez: El Capitán‘, directed by Carlos Armella and screenplay by León Krauze. It is produced under the banner of El Estudio.

It stars Rafael Márquez, Jaydy Michel, Xavi Hernández, Samuel Eto’o, Carles Puyol, David Faitelson, and Jared Borgetti. The documentary is about a Mexican defender who recounts wins and losses in the world of football and beyond, revealing an intimate look into his dreams, detours, and determination.

It will be premiered on June 6, 2024, on Netflix.
