Storyline:
Ferideis a orphaned as a young girl, and is forced to attend a boarding school while also visiting her aunt during breaks, and holidays. During this time she has fallen in love with her charming older cousin Kamran. Their love soon grows to be mutual and this shows marks their journey as their love grows and intensifies.

Çalıkuşu (English: The Wren; Lovebird) is a Turkish historical romantic drama television series starring Fahriye Evcen, Burak Özçivit, Begüm Kütük Yaşaroğlu, Deniz Celiloğlu, Mehmet Özgür, Elif İskender, and Hande Soral. The series aired on Kanal D is based on the novel of the same name for the fourth time. The series was cancelled before its completion.
Burak Ozcivit (Kamran) and Fahriye Evcen (Feride) started their relationship in real life after Calikusu ended.
Fahriye Evcen played the role in the dizi “Yaprak Dokumu” which was the novel of the same writer of “Calikusu” – Resat Nuri Guntekin.
