About MTV Roadies (Season 18) (Roadies Journey In South Africa):
Roadies: Journey in South Africa is the 18th season of India MTV Roadies, It premiered on MTV on April 8, 2022. It is produced by Pippip Media Private Limited.
MTV Roadies is one of the most popular youth reality shows in India. The show is hosted by Sonu Sood and Abhimnayu Raghav and Vishakha Fulsugne are Roadies Insiders.
“Roadies” has always been the best opportunity for people who want to pursue a career in acting and modeling. The show has given many rising stars to India, Ayushmann Khurran, Rannvijay Singha, and Prince Narula are the best examples.
The show is created by Raghu Ram, Rajiv Lakshman, and RJ Amit. It was first aired in 2003, in which Ranvijay Singha was declared the winner of the show.
Like the previous season, the show was being streamed on Voot 24hrs. before TV, It is exclusively available only to Voot Select subscribers.
In addition to airing on MTV India, the premiere episode was simulcast across three other channels of Viacom18; Colors Infinity, Comedy Central India, and MTV Beats, becoming the most-watched episode in the franchise’s history.

Actor Sonu Sood is roped in to host season 18 (Roadies: Journey in South Africa) of the popular reality show MTV Roadies. Sonu Sood replaced Rannvijay Singha as the new host and mentor on Roadies 18.
Actor-VJ Rannvijay Singha, who has been involved with the reality show for the last 18 years, either as a competitor, host, or coach, said in an interview that he will not be part of the new season.
MTV Roadies Format:
Unlike previous seasons, Season 18 will have Ex-Roadies and Debutant Roadies competing against each other (20 contestants). Bikes were introduced again as journey vehicles.
The show’s creators have abandoned the concept of gang leaders, which saw Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula, and others in that role for the past few seasons.

MTV Roadies (Season 18) Winner:
On 10 July 2022, Ashish Bhatia & Nandini G emerged as winners of the season in the Grand Finale, and for first time in history, there were two winners. Jaswanth Bopanna & Yukti Arora were 1st runners-up and Kevin Almasifar & Moose Jattana were 2nd runners-up.
