Storyline:
The series is about seven people involved in the case of a missing girl, who faces huge events intertwined with many lies and desires. It also depicts the journey of searching for the truth and the bloody revenge that resembles divine punishment.

The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection (Korean: 7인의 탈출) is an ongoing South Korean crime mystery thriller television series written by Kim Soon-ok and starring Um Ki-joon, Hwang Jung-eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yu-bi, Shin Eun-kyung, Yoon Jong-hoon, Jo Yoon-hee, and Jo Jae-yoon.
The series was confirmed for a second season on February 24, 2023. Jo Dong-min, the main director, left on October 13, 2023, and Oh Joon-hyuk took over, having co-directed the first season. On December 29, 2023, it was announced that director Oh Song-hee would co-direct the second season with Oh Joon-hyuk.
The series was a collaborative effort between SBS Drama Division, Studio S, and Chorokbaem Media. It incurred a production cost of approximately ₩46.2 billion (US$40.39 million) across both seasons 1 and 2.
The cast was finalized and filming commenced on September 22, 2022. The first season wrapped up filming on July 6, 2023, while filming for the second season started in July 2023.
The first season aired on SBS TV from September 15 to November 17, 2023, every Friday and Saturday at 22:00 (KST). The second season premiered on SBS TV on March 29, 2024, every Friday and Saturday at 22:00 (KST). It is also available for streaming on Coupang Play and Wavve in South Korea, and on Viu and Viki in selected regions.
