Storyline:
Ae Soon is rebellious but gets nervous every time she rebels. She isn’t well off but is always shining and full of positivity. She dreams of becoming a poet, although she is unable to attend school, and she is a bold character who doesn’t hide any emotions. Gwan Shik is an extremely diligent and quiet character. Romance isn’t a strength for him, however, and he doesn’t know how to act if Ae Soon cries or laughs, but he is a silent warrior who only loves Ae Soon from the very beginning and pours his all into loving her.

When Life Gives You Tangerines (Korean: 폭싹 속았수다) is an upcoming South Korean romantic drama web series directed by Kim Won-seok, written by Lim Sang-choon, and starring Lee Ji-eun, Park Bo-gum, Moon So-ri and Park Hae-joon.
On January 27, 2023, the title of the series, initially referred to as “Life” as a working title, was unveiled as “You Have Done Well.” The title, derived from the Jeju dialect, carries the meaning of “Thank you for your hard work.” Netflix social media accounts announce the English title as “When Life Gives You Tangerines”.
Pan Entertainment and Baram Pictures produced the series and the cost of production was about ₩60 billion.
The first script reading with the cast occurred on March 7, 2023. Actors present included IU, Park Bo-gum, Lee Jun-young, Choi Dae-hoon, Na Moon-hee, and Kim Yong-rim. The series was also filmed in Andong more than 30 times in 2023.
The series is planned to be released in 190 countries in 2024. It is scheduled for release on Netflix in 2024.
