The film is a remake of the 2016 Tamil film ‘Theri‘ and stars Pawan Kalyan as the titular character alongside Sreeleela, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, B. S. Avinash, Gauthami and Chammak Chandra.
The film was announced as “Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh” on 9 September 2021 and marks the second collaboration of Pawan Kalyan with Harish Shankar after Gabbar Singh (2012). Principal photography commenced on 5 April 2023, and the first schedule was completed on 15 April. The film is planned for release in 2024, but it has been delayed due to Harish Shankar’s other commitments. The digital distribution rights of the film have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video.
Irumbu Kai Maayavi
Sreeleela is set to appear in the Tamil drama movie Irumbu Kai Maayavi, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Suriya Sivakumar in the main role. The film revolves around a superhero theme where the protagonist loses one of his hands in an accident and then fights crimes with a metal hand.
