In Her Place (Spanish: El lugar de la otra) is an upcoming Chilean historical crime drama film based on the true story of writer María Carolina Geel, who, in 1955, killed her lover at the Crillón Hotel. The film offers a reinterpretation of a story from the book Las homicidas by Alia Trabucco Zerán.

The film was directed by Maite Alberdi and produced by Juan de Dios Larraín, Pablo Larraín, and Rocío Jadue. It stars Elisa Zulueta and Francisca Lewin in the lead roles.

According to Elisa Zulueta, she was involved in an accident during the production of the film while filming a scene.

In Her Place premiered on September 23, 2024, at the 72nd San Sebastián International Film Festival. The film will also have a limited theatrical release in select Chilean cinemas in September 2024. Additionally, it will be available for streaming on Netflix starting October 11, 2024.
