Storyline:

It will portray her childhood struggles and her journey to success in sports. According to director Chams, the film aims to deliver the message that nothing is impossible if one has the willpower. He clarified that while the film is not a full biopic of Angila, it is based on significant events from her life.

About Movie:

Anjila is an Upcoming Nepali film based on the life of Anjila Tumbapo Subba, goalkeeper of Nepal’s national women’s football team. Directed by Milan Chams and written by Pradeep Bardhwaj, Yam Thapa, and Giriraj Ghimire.

The shooting began from Aitabare in Ilam, Anjila’s hometown. Later it was shot in Jhapa and Kathmandu.

It will be released on March 13, 2025.
